The community will knit together a series of special places both natural and urban. The beautiful 20 acre Great Pond is a natural “kettle” pond that serves as the central open space and trail head for neighborhoods. A naturalized amphitheater looking westward across the pond anchors the eastern shore where cafes, shops and apartments mix together to form a small commercial district. An active farmers market will provide the heart for this district.

A broad, multi-use trail along Day Hill Road will link residents to each other, to their work places, to the surrounding town and to neighborhood amenities.

A new loft district features a mill chase that now functions as a way to harvest rainwater, within a park setting. Residents and visitors will be able to follow the trails to the picturesque Farmington River.
